There dwells a lady with hidden graces.

Follows her fate, though not her own desire,

She carries the weight, feeling somewhat dire.

Although her name means undeserved favour.

She believes she's seen by the Creator.

Holding on to what she wants to adore,

She likes to treat them with utmost fervour.

An introvert, she wears a mask each day,

She navigates through crowds, finds her own way.

Draining her energy, she perseveres,

Finds solace in solitude, calms her fears.

Skilled in the art of communication,

She loves language, a deep fascination.

Beneath the surface, nerves always reside,

Facing large crowds, she seeks a place to hide.

Reading's her refuge, stories come alive,

In her imagination, she can thrive.

Seeking attention, she shies away from,

There on the sidelines, where her heart finds calm.

She obeys her mother, she loves her kin,

Finds strength in family, love from within.

Ambition won't drive her, peace of mind does,

Likes tranquility, quietly buzzes.

Dreams of another career fade from sight,

Tried to embrace work, forced to give her might.

It's about finding balance in her role,

Feeling fulfilled within her quiet soul.

THE PHANTOM'S JOURNEY

In the pouring rain of the cold night's embrace,

I lay awake, my sleep disrupted, no solace to chase.

A heart filled with love, yet burdened with unrest,

Unable to grasp the depths of this emotional test.

A phantom among the crowd, feeling out of place,

Lost in a world where masks hide every face.

Bizarre sensations stir within, difficult to explain,

I comply and obey, even when I disagree, in silent pain.

Weariness engulfs me as I face the smiling throng,

Yearning to reveal my true self, to prove them wrong.

But the world's madness holds me back, bound in chains,

Yet, deep within, I know my endurance remains.

For my spirit is unbreakable, unwavering and strong,

Though unseen, it carries me through each challenge along.

In the face of adversity, I rise above the strain,

With resilience and determination, my true self I'll regain.

Lying awake in this dark, hot and quiet place,

Contemplating something to fill this empty space.

Right at this moment it is hard to paint my face,

‘Cause I am hungry, I can’t follow the time’s pace.

In the middle of the night, I was awakened.

I cannot go back to my sleep that was broken.

There’s nothing new about it, I can’t be shaken,

For waking up at this hour is hunger's token.

So I went to the kitchen and looked for some meat.

Yet find nothing, not even a morsel of wheat.

So then I tried to look for something good to eat.

I cook some oats and wait silently in a seat.

In the moment when I satisfied my hunger,

I felt a relief, but still wished for another.

Even if tonight I cannot help but wonder,

Instead of sleeping, my phone links to the router.

I cannot go back to sleep, it’s like insomnia.

But I know that I have to, I have anemia.

I know it is not because of paranoia,

But instead of sleeping, I read ZEPHANIAH.

I read the seventeenth verse of the third chapter,

God is in our midst, He hears the softest whisper.

He is always with us, for He is our Saviour.

We won't fret, even on things that make us suffer.

Now I'm afraid to succumb to a deep slumber,

Lack of sleep, a morning start I may encumber.

Then I remembered to do the things that matter.

They may be the cause of my restless sleep's tether.

The eleventh verse of the twenty-ninth chapter,

The Lord God declares His plan to make us prosper.

He is always with us, our divine Protector.

We won't fret, even amidst trials that occur.

Right now I’m afraid to fall into a deep sleep,

For when I awake I’ll be late to ride the jeep.

Then I’ve realized the things I forgot to keep.

They may be the reason my sleep isn't so deep.
